Spelling  words for the week are unhappy, refill, untie, undo, repay, unkind, undress, retell, reopen, refund different and carry.  The story of the week is Ben Franklin and His Kite.  Please read the story and go over the vocabulary words every night.  This is the last story in the book and for the year.  Over the next two weeks I will be giving them test and the end of the year book test.  I sent home last week  a notice about our field trip.  If you didn’t  get it please let me know.  The money and the permission slip are due by June 4th.  If you have any questions you may write me a note or call me at school.  In math we are working on combinations in addition and subtraction through 18.  A good idea to help your child learn the is to put them on flash cards and go over them everyday.  You can review them while you are driving in the car.  I hope everyone has a great week.
