Homework etc. June 1-4
Spelling words for the week are when, what, want, went, with, they have, then, are,would, your and there. There isn’t a story for the week or new vocabulary words for the week. We are finished with all 5 reading books. In math this week we will be starting to work on time to the hour and half hour. Just a reminder that permission slips and money are due this week for our field on June 7th. Friday June 4th is a half day. Dismissal is at 11:30. Hope everyone has a great week,see you on Tuesday
Homework etc. May 24-28
Spelling words for the week are unhappy, refill, untie, undo, repay, unkind, undress, retell, reopen, refund different and carry. The story of the week is Ben Franklin and His Kite. Please read the story and go over the vocabulary words every night. This is the last story in the book and for the year. Over the next two weeks I will be giving them test and the end of the year book test. I sent home last week a notice about our field trip. If you didn’t get it please let me know. The money and the permission slip are due by June 4th. If you have any questions you may write me a note or call me at school. In math we are working on combinations in addition and subtraction through 18. A good idea to help your child learn the is to put them on flash cards and go over them everyday. You can review them while you are driving in the car. I hope everyone has a great week.

Spelling words for the week are straw, lawn, law, saw, paw, hawk, draw, yawn, jaw, crawl, through, science. The story of the week is Alexander Graham Bell. Please read the story of the week and go over the vocabulary words every night In math we will be working on addition and subtraction facts 0f 13 and 14. On Tuesday of this week you will receive a notice about our field trip and the permission slip, please check your childs bookbag. Don’t forget the concert Monday night. Children shoul be in their classrooms by 6:45. They need to wear dress up clothes and no sneakers or jeans. Hope everyone has a great week.

Please read the story of the week and go over the vocabulary words every night. I would like to thank eeveryone who participated in our service project. Please don’t forget Tuesday is our bake sale . The money we make will help with the cost of our field trio on June 7th. Hope everyone has a great week.
