Week of 29th-31st
There are no spelling words this week or new story. My student teacher and I are going to do some fun things in reading and math, We are also starting a new unit in math which is on money. Just a reminder that we are out on spring break beginning on Thursday April 1st. School resumes Monday April 12th. I sent home a notice last Monday to some families who signed up to send candy in for our Easter surprise I ask that it be in by Tuesday March 30th, thank you. I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Easter and have a great spring vacation,Mrs. Neimeyer
Homework etc March 22-26
Spelling words for the week are backpack, outside, baseball, herself, flashlight, bluebird, lunchbox, suitcase, inside, brainstorm, picture and remember. The story of the week is Peter’s Chair. Please go over the vocabulary of the week and read the story every night. We are finishing up a unit in math this week and there will be a test some time this week. Hope everyone has a great week
March 15-19 etc
Spelling words for the week are lie, tie, high,might, right, night, bright , light,pie, tight, above, laugh. The story of the week is The Lady in The Moon. Please read the story of the week and go over the new vocabulary words every night. There will also be some math homework. We are learning combinations in both addition and subtraction of 11 and 12. Reminder that there is no school on Friday March 19th due to teacher meetings. Have a great week.

Spelling words for this week are boat, road, snow, row, yellow, coat, soap, blow, pillow, once, and wild. I am sorry there is one word missing Ican’t read my writing. The story of the week is Mister Bones Dinosaur Hunter. Please read the story night with your child and go over the vocabulary words every night. There will also be some math homework. Please don’t forget the fund raiser at Friendly’s on March 9tth. I hope everyone has a great week.
